EROS, Journey to an Asteroid
CD |
|
EROS, Journey to an Asteroid ebook
is a spectacular space resource CD. It includes 370 incredible
photos taken by NASA and JPL on this one of a kind space mission to a
near earth asteroid. The four year mission story is told using the
original JPL photographs taken by the spacecraft on its journey to EROS
433, a near Earth asteroid.
A tiny spacecraft was launched on a journey of
over a billion miles. It orbited, photographed and ultimately
landed on the Near Earth Asteroid EROS. This CD is as
spectacular as it is educational!

Strike, A Tribute
to the Fighting 17th CD |
|
The Fighting 17th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron
was part of the 5th Air Force, fighting in the southwestern Pacific
during 1943 and 1944. Flying America's versatile B-25 Mitchell Medium
Bomber, this squadron performed many different missions. They included
photo reconnaissance, strafing and bombing of both land and sea based
targets, and even aerial combat with enemy planes. This CD-ROM is a
tribute to this brave unit, and those "who made the last entry in their
log books". Included on this CD is a history
of the unit, pilot's log book and many unit photographs. There are also
links to several B-25 web sites.
