| Impact Craters are the most predominant feature
in the Solar System. At least 150 of these are known to exist on the Earth
today. When an object (Asteroid or Meteor) of
sufficient size collides with the surface of a planet, an Impact Crater is
created. The following are photos of these craters (both on Earth and other
planets).
